Lot 26 - 3 bottles Vosne-Romanée

This lot comprises three bottles of Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots1er Cru 2012 Domaine Gerard Mugneret. 100% Pinot Noir. This increasingly celebrated grower is based in the ancient village of Vosne Romanee just down the road from Domaine De La Ronanee-Conti (Gerard-mugneret.fr). This is another masterful wine made in a difficult year. Pascal has produced a fragrant, open wine that is rich on the palate with silky tannins, intense fruit flavours and a long farewell. Best opened an hour serving in a large glass to allow the aromas to lift from the glass. Ready to drink now but will last another 10 years. The wine was purchased direct from the grower and shipped to Jersey. It cannot be purchased on the island.
