Apply for support

How to apply for financial support at Christmas.

1. Complete an Application Form

Applicants can start the process of applying by downloading our Application Assistance Form.

If you can't print out a form, Application Assistance forms are freely available from a number of Approved Referring Agencies around the island.

This year's referral agencies are:

  • Brighter Futures
  • Brightly
  • Caritas
  • Citizens' Advice Jersey
  • Community Savings
  • Family Nursing & Homecare
  • Grace Trust
  • Headway
  • Jersey Women's Refuge
  • Mind Jersey
  • Parish Halls (All 12 Parishes)
  • Shelter Trust
  • Silkworth Lodge
  • St Vincent de Paul
  • Sanctuary Trust
  • School Headteachers

The form will ask for the Applicants full details, details of all dependants (if applicable) along with the main reasons as to why they are applying for support at Christmas.

Once completed the form can be handed to one of the Approved Referring Agencies who will be able to help with any queries you may have about the form and the application process.

2. Get the form signed by an Approved Referring Agency

Once completed the form should be handed to one of the Approved Referring Agencies, who must counter-sign your application. They will also be able to help with any queries you may have about the form and the application process.

The Agency will then submit your form to the Appeal for processing.
